LumienHQ ("we," "us," or "our") is a Google Business Profile management agency based in Smyrna, Rutherford County, Tennessee. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit lumienhq.com or contact us, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
1. Information We Collect
a. Information you submit through our audit request form
When you submit the free GBP audit form on our website, we collect:
- Business name
- Your name
- Email address
- Phone number (optional)
- Business website URL (optional)
- Google Business Profile URL (optional)
- City or service area
- Business type
b. Information collected automatically
Our website does not use analytics cookies or tracking pixels. Standard server logs may record your IP address, browser type, and pages visited for security and diagnostic purposes only. This data is not linked to your identity and is not retained beyond 30 days.
c. Client information (if you become a client)
As part of delivering our services, we may access or receive:
- Google Business Profile management access (Manager role, not Owner)
- Google Analytics and Search Console data
- Business contact details, operating hours, photos, and service descriptions
- Billing information processed through Stripe (we do not store payment card numbers)
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to audit requests and inquiries within 24 hours
- Deliver Google Business Profile management services to active clients
- Send monthly performance reports and service communications
- Process payments via Stripe
- Comply with applicable law
We do not use your information for advertising, remarketing, or any automated decision-making that affects you legally or materially.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with:
- Formspree: processes audit form submissions on our behalf. Governed by Formspree's privacy policy.
- Google LLC: we interact with Google Business Profile, Google Analytics, and Search Console on your behalf when you are a client. Google's privacy policy applies to data stored on Google's platforms.
- Stripe, Inc.: processes client billing. Stripe's privacy policy governs payment data.
We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of LumienHQ, our clients, or the public.
4. Data Retention
- Audit form submissions: retained for 90 days from submission, then deleted unless you become an active client.
- Active client data: retained for the duration of the engagement plus 12 months after termination, for tax and record-keeping purposes.
- Access credentials: removed from our systems within 5 business days of contract termination.
5. Data Security
We store credentials exclusively in an encrypted password manager (Bitwarden). We request only the minimum access needed to perform services (Manager role on Google Business Profile, not Owner). We do not store passwords in plain text or share client credentials with third parties.
No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we follow industry-standard practices to protect your information.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information (subject to legal retention obligations)
- Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time

7. Children's Privacy
Our services are directed to business owners and are not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
